The international break is over and most of us are glad because it means the premier league roars back to life with interesting fixtures this weekends.

Saturday 13th September2025
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forrest

Arsenal fans may get their first glimpse of new signing Piero Hincapié due to William Saliba’s Injury. The Gunners have a good attack, and even though Forest can be stubborn opponents with their new manager, Ange Postecoglou, Arsenal should have enough quality to take all three points. Forest
Bournemouth vs Brighton
Brighton’s slick style meets Bournemouth’s energy on the south coast. The Seagulls have looked solid, but away days at the Vitality are rarely straightforward. This one could end in a hard-fought draw.

Crystal Palace vs Sunderland
Sunderland’s return to the top flight has added spice to the league, but Selhurst Park is never an easy ground to visit. Sunderland fans will be expecting debuts from the dutch duo; Lutsharel Geertruida & Brian Broobey. However, Palace should edge this with home advantage.

Everton vs Aston Villa
Everton have enjoyed a positive start, but Villa arrive with new firepower. Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott could feature, which makes this an intriguing contest. Tyler Dibling signed from Southampton can make his debut as well. A draw feels likely.

Fulham vs Leeds United
Fulham’s attacking flair should be too much for Leeds. Expect Marco Silva’s men to secure a home win.

Newcastle United vs Wolves
Newcastle’s new faces, Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa, may be unleashed, giving Eddie Howe fresh attacking options. Wolves will make it tough, but St James’ Park could witness a narrow home win.

West Ham vs Tottenham Hotspur
Xavi Simons might make his Spurs debut, adding creativity to Thams Frank’s midfield. West Ham picked up well in their last game away to Nottingham in a 0-3 impressive. Spurs could still edge their London rivals in a tense encounter due to their quality.

Brentford vs Chelsea
Chelsea fans are eager to see Alejandro Garnacho in blue for the first time. A tricky away test, but the Blues should have too much for Brentford.

Sunday 14 September 2025- SUPER SUNDAY!
Burnley vs Liverpool
Alexander Isak could debut for Liverpool, adding a fresh attacking dimension. Burnley’s style may frustrate, but Liverpool should come away with a comfortable win.

Manchester United vs Manchester City
The highlight of the weekend. Both clubs have endured stuttering starts, and neither can afford to lose ground so early. Expect passion, nerves, and a cagey affair that could well end in a draw.

This weekend is brimming with storylines — high-profile debuts, fierce derbies, and battles across the table. My prediction is; Arsenal, Palace, Fulham, Newcastle, Spurs, Chelsea, and Liverpool to win; Brighton, Everton, and the Manchester derby to finish level.
Premier League is well and truly back!
